Noise travels like a blaster shot. thin walls let in every creak and conversation, making sleep less than restful. The lack of A/C means open windows, which invite in mosquitoes and street sounds. not ideal for those who value peace and quiet.

It was also cool to be in a less touristy part of Paris with local shops nearby. Just a heads up, though—it was on the 3rd floor without a lift, so if you've got a heavy bag, be ready to carry it up the stairs.

I had a splendid stay at Hotel Verlaine! The location was delightful, situated close to the Place d'Italie Metro Station, making it easy to access all major attractions. The staff, especially Élodie, were incredibly warm and accommodating, extending helpful recommendations for nearby restaurants and ensuring I felt right at home.

I enjoyed my stay at a lovely place. The welcoming staff made everything easy for me. I requested an iron for my shirt. the owner offered to iron it for me while I stepped out. There were many restaurants nearby, and getting to the metro was a short walk, perfect for this solo traveler who loves exploring. My partner booked this trip for my birthday, and it turned out well.

The room was small, and the hotel lacked an elevator.
